SCHOFER, Drew Christopher
November 24, 1960 – October 30, 2014

Drew was born very premature in Vancouver. He was a tiny baby who grew up into a 6 ft 2 man. He studied French and other languages in Strasbourg and went on to become fluent in over seven languages. Drew was an animal lover who is survived by his beloved cats. He was also a devoted teacher who was always involved in union activities. Drew spent his last twenty-five years living in Toronto as a teacher and always had several books on the go in several different languages. He loved to travel and has been to many parts of the world. Drew will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many friends, his parents Joan and Roy, his siblings Joanna and Roger and nephew Jackson. Drew passed away at his home suddenly from a Cerebral Hemorrhage. Memorial service to be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1499 Laurier Avenue, Vancouver, Wednesday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
